Elliot & Jonah have spent most of their years growing up in the south, so autumn in Indiana is a new experience for them. Their parents were excited to have some photographs taken of the two brothers enjoying the fall leaves, and the boys were excited to play and explore as the world changed color.

This shot was so fun for me. I have happy childhood memories memories of my own from playing in leaf piles. There weren’t any leaf piles in the park just yet, but we all pitched in to make this one.

We found this very unusual broken tree in the park near the river. It was a fun setting to try some creative poses.

I liked the dramatic, old fashioned feel of this portrait. To me, it captures the early American feel of the covered bridge.

This photograph was taken at the end of the day. The time for serious portraits was over, but Elliot and Jonah stayed at the park to enjoy the playground. I tried my best to crawl through it with them, taking photos as I went. Much to my dismay, this type of playground equipment is a little too small for a grown woman and her bulky camera equipment. I tried anyway, and look what I caught- a real smile! Those are my favorite types of childrens portraits, you can see all the happiness and excitement of childhood in that smile.

Elliot was a good sport and climbed this tree for me. He doesn’t even look scared!

I love the pictures of my nephews! The scenery is absolutely beautiful…but pales in comparison to their cute little smiles.
Very nice photos!
It’s nice to see pictures of my grandsons having fun with great smiles on their faces.
I loved how the leaves matched the boys’ hair color. They are a complement to the colors of autumn!
Wow they are getting so big!
Such gorgeous boys!
